Of course, your visit wouldn’t be completed without the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings!

 

Colonial Virginia at Jamestown Settlement, Williamsburg

Feel like you’re living in colonial America? This food and feast experience will have you believing it. Become a part of the Jamestown Settlement during this authentic, interactive experience where they feature live demonstrations of historic cooking and preservation methods.

Complete with showing you what life was like with costumed living history interpreters demonstrating culinary practices from both colonists and Native Americans.

This event begins on November 25th, 2022, and continues until November 26th! And then, you can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at the Jamestown Settlement Cafe.

 

Tysons Corner

Looking for a more modern way of celebrating Thanksgiving Day? Head off to the busy Virginia city of Tysons Corner, located right outside of Washington, D.C. One of the best places to visit in this area, great for everything from shopping to dining and more.

Exploring the many shops, restaurants, and attractions in the area, including the massive Tysons Corner Center. Enjoy a fresh and delicious Thanksgiving meal at the Founding Farmers restaurant and then on Saturday, hit the Beer, Wine, and Cider Festival, held at Tysons Biergarten.
